Hello!
There are seasons when self-introspection feels effortless — reflection flows, clarity arrives, and insight feels close at hand. And then there are seasons when you don't know where to begin.
This reflection is for those quieter moments.

Renewing the Mind: Surrendering Inner Narratives to God
“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” — Romans 12:2
The Stories We Did Not Choose
Every woman is carrying a small library of inner narratives — stories about her worth, her body, her capacity, her likability. Most of them were written long before she had a say. A teacher's offhand comment. A parent's exhausted sigh. A friendship that ended without explanation. The mind, ever protective, files these moments away as evidence and builds a story around them.
Renewal Begins With Noticing
Scripture asks us to be transformed by the renewing of the mind, but renewal cannot begin until we notice what is actually there. Most of our most damaging beliefs operate beneath awareness. We do not say ‘I am unworthy’ out loud — we simply act as though it were true.
From Noticing to Surrender
Once you have named a story, you have a choice. You can keep it, or you can offer it. Surrender is not pretending the story never existed. It is bringing the story to God and asking, gently, ‘Is this Yours, or is it something I picked up along the way?’
Replacement, Not Erasure
A mind is not renewed by deletion. It is renewed by replacement. For every old narrative you release, ask the Spirit for the truer one. Not a slogan. Not a Pinterest quote. A truth, spoken in the quiet, that your soul recognizes.
A Lifelong, Gentle Work
Renewing the mind is not a weekend project. It is a slow, lifelong unlearning, walked with a patient God who is not in a hurry. The invitation today is small: notice one story. Bring it to Him. Let Him answer.
