Hello!
There are seasons when self-introspection feels effortless — reflection flows, clarity arrives, and insight feels close at hand. And then there are seasons when you don't know where to begin.
This reflection is for those quieter moments.

For the Woman Healing in Silence
There is a kind of healing the timeline cannot see. It does not get posted. It does not get a before-and-after. It happens on a Tuesday afternoon when you sit down with a cup of tea and let yourself cry for no reason, or for every reason, and then get up and fold the laundry.
This is the healing this letter is for....
The pressure to perform recovery
Women are praised for visible transformation. Lose the weight, leave the man, launch the business, post the testimony. But much of what actually heals us happens in the unphotographed hours. The hours where we are not impressive, not articulate, not yet wise — just willing.
If your healing is quiet right now, you are not behind. You may, in fact, be the most honest one in the room.
What silent healing requires
It requires that you become safe to yourself. That when grief rises, you do not shame it. That when memory surfaces, you do not silence it twice. That when the body trembles, you do not call it weakness. You call it information.
It requires a journal you do not show anyone. A few square feet of your home that are yours. A God you can be honest with, even when honesty sounds like anger. Especially then.
She is not broken. She is composting. Something is becoming soil.
A gentler standard
You do not have to be healed by the end of this season to be worthy of love, of rest, of communion. The standard is not arrival. The standard is honesty. Are you, today, willing to tell the truth to yourself on the page? Then you are healing. Quietly. Fully. In a way that will hold.
