The Ten-Minute Devotion

For the woman with a full schedule and a full heart.

"Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom."

Psalm 90:12

You do not have a spare hour. You have ten minutes, and someone is calling your name at the end of them. This is not a spiritual failing. It is your life.

The ten-minute devotion is a small, repeatable rhythm you can carry inside a full week. Two minutes to arrive: sit, breathe, and let your body catch up with the room. Four minutes to read: one short passage, out loud if you can. Two minutes to write: one honest sentence in a notebook, phone, or the margin of your planner. Two minutes to pray: not a script, just the one thing you actually need to say.

That is it. Ten minutes. No app. No streak. No shame if you missed yesterday.

The goal is not to feel spiritually accomplished. The goal is to keep the thread. A thread you touch daily does not break. A thread you touch weekly might. The woman with the full schedule is not disqualified — she is exactly the woman this practice was designed for.
